Patricia’s Custom 50th Anniversary Dress:
Pat’s dress is full lace over solid colored silk in contrasting colors, perhaps a Navy and/or Rose. The blouse has 3/4 sleeves, a dropped hemline, and a wide neckline that features handmade fabric roses, flowers, and leaves accented with pearls and beads, over a separate straight tea length skirt. The hemlines of the blouse, skirt, and sleeves have scalloped edging with a beaded detail.
Inspirations
The roses on the neckline could be something like the roses on the shoes or the roses on the headpiece shown above. We can choose fabrics and colors together next time you are in town. I’ll work up something for you to try on soon and then we’ll schedule a visit!
